Since more than 50 years, VMC REFRIGERACION S.A., comes supplying equipments of first quality for industrial refrigeration, for food and process industries and recently for chemical, petrochemical and gas & petroleum sector.

The continuous improvements in design, fabrication and quality assurance, of our products and the consciousness of the requirements of safety demanded by this powerful sector, have made that we should implement a Quality Assurance System, certified by ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers).

The ASME Code is the main code to built pressure vessel worldwide, even accepted in European Union.

Our company, following the lineaments given in the Section VIII Division 1 of the Code has passed successfully the Joint Review made to the Quality Assurance System and to the fabrication process of a sample vessel, by ASME.

The ASME Authorized Inspector and ASME Authorized Supervisor came together with ASME Auditor. The Inspector and Supervisor belong to The Hartford Steam Boiler of Connecticut, one of the Inspection Agencies authorized by ASME more important of the world; with that VMC has subscripted a permanent contract.

As result of the Audit, ASME has issued the Certificate of Authorization nº 36.368 that allow us to use the “U” Stamp in the pressure vessels fabricated according the Code.

Parallel, we have been audited successfully by The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspector, giving us the Certificate of Authorization nº R-7019, that allow us to make metallic repairs and/or alterations in vessels that already have the “U” Stamp, and also allow us to certify those tasks trough the “R” Stamp.

Also, we are entitled by The National Board to register all the built vessels with “NB” Stamp.

Now, VMC REFRIGERACION S.A., is one of the twelve companies in Argentina certified by ASME and it is also one of the four with “R” Stamp in our country.
